Jack Draper is into the quarter-finals of the Adelaide International after saving two match points in a comeback win over Serbia's Miomir Kecmanovic.

The British number four was down a set early, but won the next two sets in tie-breaks as he earned a marathon 5-7 7-6 (9) 7-6 (7) victory in three hours and 39 minutes.

Following a back-and-forth opening set, the intensity lifted in the second as Draper fought to stay alive.

Despite facing two match points in the tie-breaks, the 22-year-old held on to claim the set and, ultimately, the match.

Jack Draper reached the quarter-finals of the Adelaide International after beating Miomir Kecmanovic in three sets on Wednesday

The result was a far cry from his blistering opening round victory over Sebastian Baez, which he won in less than 90 minutes.

Draper will face either number one seed Tommy Paul or Australian qualifier Jack Bolt in the next round.
