Kim Zolciak's Dating History: Kroy Biermann, Big Poppa, More
The love life of a Housewife. Kim Zolciak-Biermann rose to fame as one of the original cast members of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which documented several of her past relationships.
When the Bravo reality show premiered in 2008, the “Tardy for the Party” singer was dating a married man she called Big Poppa. Zolciak-Biermann initially kept his identity secret from her fans and her costars, but he was eventually identified as a real estate mogul Lee Najjar.
During season 2 of RHOA, the Florida native told her fellow cast members she was engaged to Najjar, but she eventually found out that he never divorced his wife. “Who gives someone a massive rock and makes this commitment if he wasn’t serious?” the Dancing With the Stars alum told Essence in October 2009. “I found out that I was still on the same merry-go-round. … I gave Poppa almost four years of my life, so now I’m just trying to move on.”
After her split from Najjar, the Bravo personality moved on with Kroy Biermann, whom she met at a 2010 charity event involving her RHOA costar Shereé Whitfield. Zolciak-Biermann later revealed that she nearly didn’t go to the event where she met her future husband.
“I threw the wig on and some makeup … and I reluctantly went … who would have thought that day would change my life forever,” the Kashmere Kollection founder wrote via Instagram in May 2022 while reflecting on the pair’s first meeting. “Goes to show you … you never know what the future holds and God ALWAYS has the most perfect plan.”
The “House of Kim” podcast host and the former NFL player welcomed their first child, son Kroy Jr. (a.k.a. KJ), in May 2011. Six months later, the duo tied the knot at their Georgia home. They went on to welcome son Kash in August 2012 and twins Kane and Kaia in November 2013. The former athlete also adopted Brielle and Ariana, Zolciak-Biermann’s daughters from previous relationships.
In May 2023, the “Google Me” songstress filed for divorce from Biermann after 11 years of marriage. The duo’s split came amid speculation about their financial woes. Three months before their breakup was made public, Us Weekly confirmed that the pair’s Georgia mansion was in foreclosure and set to be auctioned off in March 2023 (though the auction was later canceled).

Zolciak-Biermann, for her part, seemingly laughed off the situation, sharing a video of her husband vacuuming the couple’s home while wearing nothing but boxer briefs. “Get yourself a man that does it all, folks, okay?” she wrote via Instagram in February 2023. “Mhm … yes sir.”
