Park Avenue Attorney Led Double Life as Serial Sex Attacker: Police

Publish date: 2024-07-11

A New York attorney has been charged by police with being a serial sex offender, who committed at least three sexual assualts on women in a two-month spree.

Park Avenue Attorney Ra'Shaun Kelley was arrested on Friday and charged with the groping assaults, which took place in East Village, Lower East Side and Harlem in late 2014 and early 2015, reported NBC 4.

According to police, Kelley followed women into the lobbies or elevators of their apartment buildings, groped them, and in one case attempted to remove a victim's clothing.

In total there were five assualts over the period, and Kelley remains a suspect in all of them, reported ABC 7.

The suspect's attorney claims that his client was misidentified in a lineup, and that police have the wrong man, reported the outlet.

Kelley has pleaded not guilty and is due in court in January, with bail set at $200,000.

Kelley has his own Park Avenue law firm and previously was a partner in Carrion, Soto, Viruet and Kelley, according to his LinkedIn profile.
