Pawn Stars' Expert Johnny Jimenez Jr. Arrested for Domestic Violence

The proof is in the surveillance footage. Pawn Stars’ resident toy expert, Johnny Jimenez Jr., was arrested on charges of domestic violence against his girlfriend last month, TMZ reports.

According to TMZ, the reality show regular is currently facing legal repercussions after he allegedly pulled his girlfriend to the ground outside a Las Vegas restaurant in the early hours of the morning.

Law enforcement officials told the site that cops were called to the restaurant after Jimenez tried to get an intoxicated woman — Jimenez’s girlfriend — back inside the establishment, and in the process, pulled on her purse strap, which caused her to take a tumble.

In a statement to KTNV Action News, Jimenez tried to explain the situation.

“We arrived to the Casino at 4 a.m. to go to our room after my birthday party with family and friends, my girlfriend was extremely intoxicated,” the statement reads. “I should have just went to the room but was trying to get my girlfriend food to sober up and that was really hard to do. The [surveillance] cameras will show on multiple occasions me picking her up off the floor. She was wearing 4-inch stiletto boots on top of being drunk.”

Jimenez goes on to state that he was holding on to his girlfriend’s hands and purse in order to keep her standing upright, and that he was “really disappointed that the police here could not get the facts before they put someone in handcuffs.”

“I know by looks I’m a scary big guy with a shaved head, but anyone who knows me knows I’m a single dad who takes care of his friends and family and have been nothing but good to my girlfriend,” he concluded.
