Dinky One dating site for men with small penises sees tens of thousands sign up
Moving a romantic relationship to the physical stage can be a stressful experience for men who are less well-endowed.
But a niche dating app dedicated to males with smaller penises aims to combat the awkwardness and open a debate over whether size really is a big deal.
Dinky One, a UK-based match-making site, is designed to help those with miniature manhoods find love.
When it launched in March, it attracted around 33,000 members (pun intended) within two days, with a fifth of men joining identifying as gay or bisexual - although it's open to all genders and sexualities.

The only pre-requisite for men who sign up is that they have a below average appendage - that's under 5.5 inches (14cm) globally when erect.
While the site aims to make men more comfortable and tackle the stigma around the issue, it's also geared towards women who prefer a smaller penis.

ShareA female member referenced as Z, aged 28, said she finds sex with a man whose phallus is bigger than 4 inches painful.
'In the past have had to resort to oral but miss that close intimacy of sex,' she explained in a testimonial on the site.
'I can hardly ask a new potential partner when dating about their size, and that may be exaggerated anyway!'
The idea of a smaller manhood also appeals to women who enjoy an element of control in the bedroom.

User K, aged 42, explained: 'Being a dominant women, the idea of man with a small d*** really appeals. I don’t want to have him on me, asserting his authority.
'He should be pleasing me orally or with toys. If he does a good job then I will let him orgasm, but only under my terms.'
Meanwhile male member T, aged 36, admitted: 'When you're a smaller man dating is very complicated. A lot of my mates found their partners from friends of friends or via work.
'Imagine the situation when one of these relationships fails, she’s likely to mention my size to her friends and then gossip spreads! Everyone in your office asking you, "Can you help me a little bit?", "Do you have a small pencil I can borrow?"
'Either everyone knows or you become paranoid. It’s therefore far better to date online with strangers and even better on a dedicated site such as Dinky One as everyone knows in advance.'

Founder David Minns said: 'There’s pressure on all genders to confirm to ideals set by TV, film and even porn. The adult entertainment industry only casts males with well over average sized penises.
'In addition, adverts on major porn sites advertise dubious products to increase penis size. All of this makes a man already insecure about his size even more self conscious.
'Some men are big, some average and some below average. Dinky One lets smaller men date people outside their circle of friends with the safety that everyone using the site is fully aware. Members can focus on shared interests and get on with dating.'
Sign ups to online dating platforms spiked during lockdown, with Match Group - which owns brands including Tinder, Hinge, Match, and OKCupid - reporting a 15 per cent increase in new subscribers in its second quarter.
