Victoria Beckhams Dark But Happy Place Sweatshirt: Details

While we are all used to seeing Victoria Beckham with her signature oversized sunglasses and Posh pout, the former Spice Girl has quite the sense of humor and her latest launch is proof. The womenswear designer just released a $230 cotton sweatshirt with the slogan “It’s a Dark But Happy Place” emblazoned across the chest, and it perfectly captures our #mood.

Having just caught heat for her lack of expression while attending the royal wedding of the newly minted Duke and Duchess of Sussex last week, the mom of the four had the last laugh in an Instagram post promoting the new style. “When you’re smiling on the inside,” Victoria captioned the pic along with several laughing face emojis. “As the sweatshirt says!! Let your sweatshirt do the talking.”

Posh expertly styled her classic crewneck (which also comes in black) by tucking it into high-waisted boyfriend jeans and throwing on a pair of red heels that look awfully similar to the ones she sported with her navy mididress at Meghan and Harry’s nuptials. On her website, meanwhile, the boxy cut is paired with a slouchy black trouser and sneaker for a casual take on workwear.

Usually known for her clean, modern designs, Posh started experimenting with statement shirts last fall with her self-deprecating “Fashion Stole My Smile” tee. In February, she launched a t-shirt version of the “It’s A Dark But Happy Place” slogan and explained it’s a reference to her love of sunglasses.
