Virginia woman in 'fake homeless video' is arrested
Micha Leigh Dominguez, 40, was charged with three counts of throwing missiles at a car in motion on Monday in Henrico County
A Virginia woman exposed in a 'Fake Homeless' viral video for panhandling when she owns a new car was arrested by police on Monday after officers responded to a 'disorderly situation' she was involved in.
Micha Leigh Dominguez, 40, was charged with three counts of throwing missiles at a car in motion after police say she tossed bottles of Gatorade at another woman's vehicle, WTVR reported.
The Tappahannock native is being held on secured bond at the Henrico County Jail.
'The complainant advised officers that while standing in the median, several people began harassing her and videotaping her,' Lt. Richard Cosby of Henrico Police told WTVR.
'While speaking with the complainant, the officers were approached by another woman who told officers that the subject they were talking with had thrown items at their cars while in the parking lot, and that the incident had been videotaped, which was subsequently shared with the officers.'
Dominguez was filmed on Sunday panhandling at the intersection of Broad Street and Glenside Drive in Henrico in a four-minute clip that had been viewed more than two million times on YouTube before it was taken down on Tuesday.
The video shows Dominguez appearing to hold a sign while walking across a median strip and stopping by car windows at the intersection begging for money.
It then cuts to her being approached by two men as she walked over to her 2014 Fiat SUV that was parked in a nearby McDonald's parking lot.

The charges against Dominguez come after she was filmed on Sunday begging for money (right) before returning to her 2014 black Fiat SUV that was parked nearby (left) where she was confronted about whether or not she was homeless
As she takes off a sweatshirt, the men ask her why she is driving a new car when she is 'begging for change all over the city of Richmond.'
'Why don't you leave me alone before I call the cops on you,' she tells the men.
The man filming the video then begins to ask her a series of questions, including 'how much did you make you today? Everyone be warned!'
Dominguez then walks away from the SUV and towards the McDonald's while threatening to call the police.
She then knocks on two drive-thru windows for assistance by employees inside.
'These people won't leave me alone,' Dominguez says while pointing at the men and looking back at their camera.
She complains that she is being harassed by the men to the employees, but the men told of how she is violating the eatery's rules by being parked in their parking lot without being a customer.
'Do you know that she parks in your parking lot everyday and never spends a dime here, but goes out there begging for change?' one of the men asks the McDonald's employee at the drive-thru window. 'That's her car right there.'
The store employees do not come to her aide so she then walks back towards her Fiat.
The two men who filmed the encounter questioned why Dominguez (above) is driving a car when she is 'begging for change'. During the confrontation, she tried to flee to the McDonald's to ask store employees for help, but the men kept accusing her of fraud
As the video continues, the two men repeatedly ask her why she is panhandling and accuse her of not actually being homeless.
'So why are you doing this?' Dominguez asks the men in reference to filming her.
'Because it's wrong! You're taking people's money. Look at your car, what year is this? What year is that vehicle?' the man filming asks Dominguez.
'Where do you live? You're begging for money? Why are you doing that? Stop stealing people's money.'
Dominguez then begins to walk back towards her Fiat, as the men continue to question why she is panhandling.
'You're not homeless, you own a car. Some people are really homeless,' the man filming tells her.
'Some people are really homeless and need help.'
Dominguez eventually told the men that she begs for money because she has a disability. But when questioned about what the nature of her disability is, she replied, 'that's none of your business.'
The two unidentified men also accused Dominguez of getting assistance from the government that she does not need.
